Tan Sri Clement Hii is the Group Managing Director of SEGi University and Colleges, a tertiary education provider listed on Bursa Malaysia. He is also the Executive Chairman of the HCK Capital Group Bhd, also a listed diversified group with interests in property, education, and other investments.

He was the Executive Deputy Chairman of Star Publications (M) Bhd, publisher of the top-circulating English newspaper in Malaysia. At age 20, he was the founding chief editor of The Borneo Post. Tan Sri Hii, who hails from Sibu, Sarawak, has a law degree.

SEGi University Group is now the largest private institution of higher learning in Malaysia, with about 20,000 students. The HCK Capital Group has carved a niche as a builder of education cities across Malaysia.

Tan Sri Hii is also the founder of moderation and good governance group, the Centre For A Better Tomorrow (CENBET) and the Hiichiikok Foundation, which runs a children’s home in Kuala Lumpur and offers scholarships funds.
