Jeffrey Ong is a former Malaysian national swimmer. His swimming career highlights include representing Malaysia at the 1988 Seoul and 1992 Barcelona Olympics, the 1991 World Swimming Championships in Perth, and the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland; winning a gold medal in a World Cup meet in Perth in 1990, a silver medal at the 1990 Asian Games in Beijing, a silver medal at the 1991 World Student Games in Sheffield, and two silver medals at the 1988 Asian Swimming Championships in Guangzhou, as well as eight gold medals, one silver and one bronze at the South East Asian (SEA) Games.

He was also the Asian record holder in the 1500m Freestyle, and he was the 1988 Malaysian Sportsman of the Year. He still holds the Malaysian national record for the 1500m Freestyle, which was set in 1991.

Jeff graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Psychology, where he was a member of the USC Swim Team as well as an NCAA All-American swimmer.

He was the Vice President of Dentsu Sports Asia, Malaysia and former Deputy President of the Malaysian Olympians Association. He is currently the Senior Consultant of Engaging Leaders Pte Ltd by Asian Detours Pte Ltd.
